On a monthly basis, the Seabrook Island Club Golf Staff award the Seabrook Island Birders (SIB) with the opportunity to spend a Monday morning on one of our beautiful golf courses. Allowing Seabrook Island Birders to use golf carts to travel the course, with our members, to do some amazing bird watching. Each outing we will explore 9 holes either the front or back nines on Ocean Winds or Crooked Oaks.

The SIB activities committee wants to encourage you to join us in experiencing this unique opportunity. SIB calls this “Learning Together” as it is a fantastic opportunity to learn about birding with other members and guests. To see and hear the diverse birds that live or migrate through our island. So, if you are striving to improve your birding skills or just want to experience a great two hours communing with nature, this is the place to be.

No matter the season we expect to see a large variety of birds including Egrets, Herons and birds of prey. We will also see and hear some of the smaller birds like Tufted Titmice, Eastern Bluebirds, Northern Cardinals, Carolina Wrens and some of the many warbler species.  But with each season comes a new set of unique experiences.
