Seabrook Island Birders membership is open to anyone interested in birds including residents, renters and guests to Seabrook Island. Benefits of membership include the opportunity to go on bird walks, participate in bird counts and learn about the many birds that frequent our island each season of the year as well as lending your support to our focus on protection by our volunteers and associated organizations. In addition, members will receive a discount on bird food purchased at Wild Birds Unlimited in West Ashley, SC.
Last year, more than 300 members enjoyed our various activities and programs. As a member you will have access to our regularly scheduled activities and programs at no additional charge.
In addition, your membership dollars provide support to much more. Over the years our club has made significant donations to organizations that support protecting our bird population, as an example Avian Birds of Prey and SCDNR for shorebird research and preservation. We will continue to seek out ways to help protect the beautiful bird population that inhabit and migrate through our great island.
In addition, through your support we are able to implement our Shorebird Stewards program, install and manage over 70 Bluebird houses and our newest addition in 2025 the Purple Martin pods at the equestrian center. To learn more about all this please visit our website at sibirders.com.

New members who join after October 1, will also receive membership for the following year.

We have three methods to pay: Check, Cash or PayPal.
A.) Pay by PayPal (Please use this option for credit card payment)
Be sure to click on the # of Memberships you will purchase.
Click on the button “Pay with PayPal” to log into your account OR Click on one of the credit card icons to pay using a credit card (Note: You will have to create a PayPal Login) your payment will go to Seabrook Island Birders for your Annual membership which is $15/person/year. Select the number of memberships you would like to pay using the drop down below. (Note: If you do not get a screen that makes sense, back up a page and try again.) Be sure you have completed the electronic form on Step 1 before you make payment.
B.) Zelle
We also accept Zelle … just use your banking app to Zelle payment ($15/person) to: seabrookislandbirders@gmail.com
C.) Mail a Check
Place a check made out to Seabrook Island Birders for $15/person in an envelope and include the name, email, and phone number of each member.
