Living in low-country we are surrounded by some of the most amazing habitat and sanctuaries in the world. Botany Bay HP and WMA, Bear Island and Donnelly WMA, Caw Caw Interpretive Center and Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve just to mention a few. Regularly, Seabrook Island Birders will schedule a field trip to one of these preserves affording us the opportunity to explore the habitat and the bird life that inhabit it.
The SIB activities committee wants to encourage you to join us in experiencing these unique opportunities. A fantastic opportunity to learn about birding with other members and guests. To see and hear the diverse birds that live or migrate through low-country. So, if you are striving to improve your birding skills or just want to experience a time of communing with nature and fellow birders, these are great opportunities for adventure with just a local commute.
