Backyard Birding at Betsy Kerrison property

Join SIB members Cyndy and Shep McKinley at their beautiful property off Betsy Kerrison Parkway. The birds enjoy the natural features of the McKinley’s backyard along with their great feeders. You can observe a variety of warblers and woodpeckers from the deck nestled in the treetops, or enjoy the view of the marsh and river with a range of wading birds as well as birds making their way along the river in the morning hours.
Bring binoculars, water, camera and dress according to weather. There are a number of stairs to get to the deck, but there is also a view from the back of the property at the marsh level, where mid and ground range birds such as sparrows and thrushes might be found.
