Join the Seabrook Island Birders for a walk on trails near the beach. Migration should be underway for opportunities to see newly arrived visitors. Redstarts, Prairie Warblers should be arriving and our resident Painted Buntings may still be here. While on Six Ladies Trail, a stop at the picnic table looking over the marsh towards Creek Watch can get some raptors and egrets. Six Ladies is a trail with slopes and roots so appropriate shoes are recommended.
If there is interest and tides permit, we may extend the walk to a brief visit to North Beach to see some of our favorite shorebirds.
If you are not yet a 2026 SIB member, you may become a member for only $15 by following the instructions on our website: Become a Member. You may bring the form and your dues to the event. Or you may pay the Guest Fee of $10.
Please register no later than September 13th. All registrants will receive a confirmation letter the day prior to the trip. If you need to cancel, please let us know so we can invite people on the waitlist to attend.
