Avian Conservation and New Technology

From Motus to RFID bird feeders Dr. Cody Cox will show us how these technologies are used to research avian migration, local population habitat use, and bird survival.
Originally from Atlanta, Dr Cox is currently a research professionaI in the Rushing Avian Ecology Lab at University of Georgia. He has broad expertise in Avian ecological studies and uses new technology to assist him. He has worked in the rain forests of Costa Rica with resident birds, coastal Georgia studying Painted Buntings, and the mountains of North Carolina with Black-throated Blue Warblers.
